Dry Eye Treatment
Dry Eye Treatment Centre is a specialist clinic dedicated to diagnosing and treating what is referred to as dry eye, dry eye syndrome or dry eye disease. Many patients struggle for years with irritation, burning, fluctuating vision, or red eyes without receiving effective treatment.
Our clinic uses advanced diagnostic technology and evidence based treatments including IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), LLLT (Low Light Level Therapy), meibomian gland expression, and targeted therapies for meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD).
If you have persistent dry eye symptoms, we provide a structured, personalised treatment plan designed to address the root cause and not just temporary relief.

The following are common symptoms of dry eye syndrome. If you are experiencing any of these, you may be suffering from dry eye and should consider scheduling an assessment by getting in contact with us.

Symptoms often worsen during reading or screen use and may temporarily improve with blinking.

Available Dry Eye Treatments We Provide
Below are the dry eye treatments we provide to help relieve symptoms and support long term eye comfort and health. To read about each one in detail please follow the links to each treatment page.
A manual treatment where we gently expresses the tiny oil glands (meibomian glands) in your eyelids.
This helps clear blockages and encourages the release of natural oils that are essential for a healthy tear film.
When these glands are blocked, tears evaporate too quickly, worsening dry eye.
By improving oil flow, this treatment can stabilise the tear film and reduce dryness and irritation.
BlephEx is a specialised eyelid hygiene procedure that cleans the lid margins and lashes to remove accumulated debris, bacteria, and an inflammatory biofilm.
This can help with blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelid) and improve the health of the eyelid environment, leading to better tear quality and reduced irritation.
A light-based therapy that uses pulses of broad-spectrum light applied around the eyelids.
IPL targets the underlying cause of many dry eye cases by reducing inflammation, helping glands to open up, and improving the quality of the oily layer of tears.
This improves tear stability and can significantly ease symptoms like dryness, burning, and irritation.
A gentle, light treatment that uses specific wavelengths of blue and/or red light to stimulate the meibomian glands and surrounding tissues.
LLLT can increase gland activity, reduce inflammation, and improve oil production. all of which support a more stable tear film and reduce dryness.
